Hair and Make up

Ever look like you woke up on the wrong side of the bed or put your make-up on in the dark? Our experts are available to make you look marvelous!

If you don’t wear makeup on a daily basis, consider your wedding day the exception. Just a little bit of mascara, blush, and lip gloss goes a long way in making your features stand out in wedding photos. We recommend a professional make-up artist to enhance your features perfectly. Be careful of airbrushing. It is more costly and often times needs touch ups throughout the day.

We recommend Mary Kay exfoliating lip mask or Jade Lilly’s fabulous lip scrub to make your lips kissable. These products will remove dry or chapped skin and your lipstick will glide right on. DeVine Sangria lip balm will protect those lips from sun damage with all the antioxidants from wine.

All of these products are available in our studio. Visit us or make an appointment to meet with us.

Create a mega-watt smile with several choices of over the counter teeth whiteners. Start approximately a month or so before your wedding. Dentists remain the source for the most dramatic whitening results.

When you get those close-up shots of the ring on your hand, nails may need a little TLC. Nail technicians are good, but they’re not able create instant glamour worthy nails in an hour. If you’re a nail biter or peeler of broken nails and hangnails, try to kick the habit a month before. No chip polish will last a couple of weeks, so go ahead and pamper your hands and feet a week before. You and your entire bridal party can make an afternoon of it.

Skin care regimen is important in everyday life, but the couple of months leading up to your wedding is optimal. You want your skin to look it’s best for all those photos! We have consultants with Nerium, Arbonne, Mary Kay and Jade Lilly have great products that can help exfoliate and keep a moisturizing routine before going to bed. Microdermabrasion products work well. If you have the time and money, visit a dermatologist about 3 – 6 months prior to your wedding day.

A sun-kissed glow look looks amazing against a white or ivory wedding dress. Overdo it and you risk not looking like yourself and maybe 50 shades of orange. If you’re going the

spray tan, schedule an appointment a week before and see how it looks on you. The go for another appointment 2 day prior.
